A: When your present hosting provider can no longer meet the needs of your website, or when you face frequent network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the client care staff to reply to you, it might be a good idea to change your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your sites along with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Mark Love, we realize that this can be difficult & time–consuming. For this reason, we will perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly knowledgeable technical staff reps will move your site content from your current provider to us. Our technicians have got broad experience migrating web sites and can handle anything – from a regular WordPress–based weblog or Joomla^™–based website, to a very complex, custom–made app.

A: There are lots of variables to consider – the total amount of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our web site migration experts, etc. Still, we do our very best to carry out all web site migrations in a 48–hour window. Smaller web sites are migrated much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We do not request any private information. We’ll require, though, the login info for your current hosting account as well as the name of the web site that you want to migrate.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose exactly the same info you have given to your old web host. We also have a very strict Privacy Policy, which describes how personal info is tackled.

A: Your web site will continue to work exactly like it did before with your old hosting provider. When we have completed the migration, your website will be configured to work on our platform and we will ask you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will have to do is update the NS records pertaining to your domain name. Your site will be migrated over to us without any downtime whatsoever.

A: Nope. We will never touch base with your hosting provider about anything at all. They will not be aware of the website transfer either.

A: We can transfer your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform as long as we can acquire access to the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only sites that we are unable to transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
